Thanks to continued investment from the Government of Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee, Team Canada’s athletes and coaches delivered a best-ever performance at the 2024 Olympic Games which came to a close in Paris, France over the weekend.

Hatch, who has been on the Board of Directors helping to guide the independent sport technical agency over the last five years where he was Chair of the Governance and Nominations Committee, will be the third Chair in Own the Podium’s history.

Own the Podium has continued its commitment to ensuring a safe and welcoming sport environment for all in Canada’s sport community by signing an agreement to join Abuse-Free Sport, the new independent program to prevent and address maltreatment in sport.
